I miss your smile
So much that it's proposterious
With those teeth
That I called midget teeth,
But really were pretty big
Your smile is still one of the most heart-warming things
I've ever seen in my life
It used to comfort me
Remind me that you and I were best friends
And always would be
I guess your smile and I were wrong
I miss you laugh
It rings in my ear
Reminding me of memories
That we once shared
Memories,
We promised we'd make more of them
I guess we won't
I miss calling you a retard
Along with all my other little pet names for you
They may have seemed cruel
But we knew they were out of love
You are still
And always will be
My one and only retard
I guess I'm just not your Kit
I re-read the poetry book you wrote for me
You said we should get best friend married
Now we don't even have the chance
To get best-friend divorced
Because you left me
Before we said I do
Through thick and thin?
Isn't that what you said?
We'd be together
Until the day that existence doesn't exist
Those were the words you wrote
You said I was the best friend you'd ever had
You said if we didn't have anything else
We'd always have each other
You said I understood you better than anyone else
You could laugh with me
Cry with me
Most of all
You said that we were forever
The broken heart that you left me is worse
Is more battered and broken
Then a thousand Danny's could do
I trusted you will all I had
Loved you with all the love I could muster
I can't hate you
I don't even want to try
I miss you every day
I miss that voice
That smile
That laugh
I miss the sparkle in your eyes when you're happy
The way that you just lit up my life
I miss your odd sense of humor
I miss the way you could read all of my emotions
Most of all
I miss how you knew me
More than I knew myself
Aries, until the day I die
You will always be my favorite
My best friend
My retard
I'll never forget you
I'll never hate you
I'll just go on
Each day missing you
Wanted to have you by my side again
Like you promised
Just so you know
I never would have abandoned you
Like you abandoned me
