Some mock me
Most of my friends disapprove
I don't know why
I came back to you in my time of need
You hurt me
So many times
I said I'd never forgive you
Never talk to you again
I tried to hate you
Tried to forget you
Tried with all that I am to get you out of my life
But no matter how hard I tried
I still loved you
When I called you that night
I was shocked that you answered
I almost couldn't believe that you picked up the phone
I knew that you'd reconize my number
I dialed your number
Then called,
Hanging up before the first ring
Than I called again
This time the second
And then again
But before I could hang up
You answered,
"Hello, Kit."
You said in a voice that wasn't angered
But happy to talk to me
I bawled and ranted to you
And you listened
You cared
I knew at that point
That you'd changed
The moment I told my closest friends
They thought I was mad
Crazy for letting you back into my life
But I knew I still loved you
And you still loved me
We are still now in love
But not together
I lost my best friend
The person that meant the most to me
You knew that
You knew that she was my other half
You were okay with the fact that I would give up
Ever speaking to you again
To have her back in my life
Is that real love?
What does that mean?
I don't know
Lately you haven't been there though
I keep feeling like you're going back
To the person I used to know
I know I should get out now
Flee
While I still have my meanded heart in one piece
But I can't leave you now
You're all that I have with her gone
After all
I'm human
I need some sort of stability
And if you're it
That's the end of the story
I hope you've changed
For both our sakes
I hope that you're not the same
The first time I catch a glimpse
Of the old picese
I'm gone
Forever
So stay pure
Stay how you are now
I'll always love you
You know that
But I can't live
Through our emotional rollercoaster again
I hope it doesn't come to that
I hope we work this time
You're are my stability
Even when you aren't mine.
