I'm so sorry what I've done to you
The pain that I've put you through
The tears that you've shed over me
I'm sorry for breaking your heart
And not being there for you
I'm sorry for shattering your dreams
Of you and I growing old together
I'm sorry that you and I could not be forever at that time
But we might be together in the future
I'm sorry I moved away from you
Taking that piece of your heart with me
I'm sorry for giving up on us
I really wonder what we could be
Now that we've been apart for all this time
I can't find the ring that you proposed to me with
It seems to be lost like my mind
I promise that I'll find it though
That it will be on my finger once again
When you and I are together
In the future
When we are no longer living in yesterday.
