Touch this dark, cool length of my soul.
this touch that lingers...crawling on my skin
and pulling at my hair.
The memory of you...
Another...and another
They line up and collapse
All the same...never stopping
For I never stop it
Death to red.
Bleeding and dying.
Soaking up life
I have no
control.

"They line up and collapse..." That's a powerful line for me. Seems like it's all a never ending string of disappointments, doesn't it?

I adore that first line. It's a deal sealer for me. I also like what it evolved into. It's depth trancends its length.

i never rally get short pieces. i always feel that they're the very tip of some colossal ice berg holding themselves down to avoid detection. but, just like seeing the tips of ice bergs, we know what lurks beneath.

oops, about your piece anyway. i felt a tingle in my brain of things i forget on and off again, and it's like i ran into an ice berg when i remember them. nice job.
