This poem is a joke between sIo and I
I saw a rainbow today beautiful and full of light.
I chased my rainbow all day and in to the night.
My rainbow finaly stoped. "why did you stop" I asked "I'm waiting for the rain to pass" she replied. We sat and watched as the storm rolled in, a feeling so pure i can't help but grin. I ask my rainbow "what is your name?" "Joanna" she she replies. I ask "is it true? Is there a pot of gold at the end of you?" She laughes and grins and points to the back I turn and look and begin to crack for the stack of gold was as tall as I She told me "take the gold" I begin to cry "why are you so nice" I ask her just once. She looks at me with eyes so kind "You passed the gold when you asked for my name" "Your heart is pure I feel no shame" I look at her with a tear in my eye she tells me "smile you have set me free" I think to myself how could it be? Is this a spell. She turns a light shines from above I fall to the ground I feel a hand on mine I stand to see she is back to her human self. She runs through the field with her arms out to the side. I stand and look in utter aw my rainbow is gone to live like us all. I turn and begin to walk away i fill my pockets with gold and leave the rest. My heart feels heavy inside my chest, my rainbow is gone more beautiful than the day. Will I see her again I might never know, but until that day I will leave it so.
