Your eyes reflect the blood shed that your fangs inherit
The path flows from your eyes and splits you pale face
My life has joined others in their journey through your veins
Your bite has left me drunk and dizzy in the afterglow

My reflection now evades me
My feelings are no more
(A child of the night)
My life is now of blood
My death is the stake
(I will take flight)

My wounds are healing now but I grow weaker in the light
My heart stops and I fear your promise has failed my blood
As I lay in my death bed you visit and remind me of the blood
The taste remains on the slab it remains even in my grave

My blood is replaced by others
My skin is translucent
(You make me whole)
My darkness is light
My tomb is my birth
(I will drink your soul)

The moon is bright as I thrust from my soily womb
You greet my with you bloody eyes and I understand
I must now seek out victims as you sought my self
I will drink them, free them, and show them the darkness

My reflection now evades me
My feelings are no more
(A child of the night)
My life is now of blood
My death is the stake
(I will take flight)
