I am dead inside
My hollow shell wears the mask of a carefree soul
Raucous and rowdy
I disrupt and proudly alienate the ones I love
Contention abides within

Why am I unhappy?
I have love that others covet.
Why am I unhappy?
I have a life other would die for.

I am unhappy
As the truth eats with in me
The monster inside emerges
And disembodies my spirit
My thoughts are dislocated
As my body acts unnaturally

Why aren't I happy?
Is it because I'm so hallow
Why aren't I happy?
Is my life unfulfilled?

Everyday I step closer to the light
Everyday I return to the dark
