Darkness comes to claim my eyes
Numbness comes to claim my hands
Even though I'm paralyzed
My soul walks these scattered lands

At midnight I see her face
In the cold I feel her skin
Tonight I will touch and taste
Everything considered sin

I will set my eyes to hers
I will take her by the wrist
I will stroke her till she purrs
I am what she can't resist

In the night she'll watch her blood
Slowly draining out her heart
Death follows behind the flood
Then the twilight dreams will start

Hey now, not too shabby. Good rhyme, ok rhythm, twist ending... Yes, I'd say you've got amazing potential for your first day here. Welcome.
