When they look they will just see a friend
Someone there to listen and comprehend
They never see a soul, a mind, a heart
And so they tear my mind apart

Now I will foolishly fall for another
But they will see me like a brother
I'll try to give them my affection
But I'm met with plain rejection

I'm on the wrong end of the noose
I can't even control my moves

Its time to fall again but this one is new
And to her I've always been true
But now the twist is how she'll act
She'll send all my flirtations back

But when confronted with my feelings
She misconstrued our daily dealings
Then off her my love is deflected
I'm alone, once again rejected

I'm on the wrong end of the noose
I can't even control my moves
