I must hide my dark thinking
So that it cannot come true
My self control is sinking
I am almost onto you

I can’t disguise my needing
You have accepted the end
Tonight your heat is bleeding
Although we both have sinned

Now that you are gone
The trees will keep my secret
And though it may be wrong
Tomorrow I won’t regret
