When I see your beauty it is a prize I wish to win
I look and lust but love never enters my mind
I pursue my heart and it is ripped out
Yet I don't even care
Another beauty as equally fetching shows
Now my lust is met with misguided love
And my heart is accepted
It stays singled out and solitaire
And I am finished before we began
Now your heart is ravished and I come out clean
My conscience screams and I am at a loss
Now my shallow heart cannot accept another's warmth
