i dropped my heart

i think i dropped my heart today
i thought it was a must

now its been trampled all upon
i think it's gonna bust

When i went to pick it up again
it had all turned to dust

i left it on the ground too long
you caused the broken trust

i guessed i've learned my lesson well
not love we have, just lust
