(I wrote this and gave it to the girl I thought I was going to marry... She left me less than a week later for someone else.)

It's amazing that man can find happiness
In a universe of infinite darkness
For our short moment of time fades quickly
And we vanish back into the nothing

Yet under the candlelight of a star
We flicker quietly in its comforting shadow
And in those moments we find love and peace
Joining one another in our simple pleasures

No matter whether gravity, fate, or choice
Brought us together in our fleeting moment
Our hearts intertwined in wild flames
As we become everything to each other forever

When we pass into the calm, quiet night
I want nothing more than to be you
And for you to be me, inside and out
Our bodies, blood, and minds as one

For when the world shakes and turns
We will have each other within ourselves
Void of loneliness, impenetrable, inseparable
Forever young in our hearts, we ascend

this was so beautiful in sentiment..the idea that our loved ones seep into our very souls and fill up all that empty space to make us complete..but your heading above these beautiful made it bittersweet

This broke my into thousands of pieces, I know how this feels.. I didn't even have to read it to start crying just the note that you left behind, it saddened me and I'm sorry to hear that.. I hope you start feeling better and you
