For awhile you became just a memory
A cloudy thought trickling down into
A pool of dreams and emotions

The crystal streams flowing to my nerve endings
Tingling out to my finger tips
As the memory gives life

Though we are all here and all is quiet
Our thoughts speak for us
And we can feel each other

Many of us have passed on
And those that linger have changed
Though we too will eventually leave

Even though you may have trickled away
And the pond lay still
You will remain a part of me

And I hope you will never forget that
