(part 4 of the Reoccuring Dream Sequence)
There you are again
You fucking demon
You left me alone for so long
I hate you
I hate you with passion unbridled
Why can’t you just leave me alone???
I sensed you from afar
Rising, creeping, advancing
At lightning speed you came
There I was, but not a child this time
In my home of birth, so sacred
You’d come for me, then my family
Though you’re unseen, transparent
I felt you with every step, drawing closer
The wind screaming, the cold clenching itself against me
I shiver as I feel your presence brush by me
Dancing around like the assassin you are
My family’s canine barking uncontrollably
I scream and try to explain what’s happening
But no one believes, no one understands
Until I feel your arms wrapped tightly around me
Invisible you came, yet I felt the knife cutting my neck
I fought you as you whispered to me
“Look at what your God has done for you”
It ended as violently as it started
With you shoving a spike through my ears
Feeling every bit of pain you can only dream of
Now I am awake, the pain draws away
Yet your presence still around me
As my eyes water and hands type
Scared to return to sleep…
