(This piece's conception was quite different from my normal writings. I wrote the music for a slow, dark power ballad song and recording myself singing to it, creating the words off the top of my head. When I played it back, I wrote down the words and posted them here. This piece holds more intimate to me than most of my new experiment writings so please comment. Good or bad! Thanks everyone.)

Where am I
Where are you

Why can’t we find where we belong in this whole world
I guess they forgot someone
That someone was me
Where am I supposed to be
The teary eyes of a lost child

There’s nothing left of this world
We’ve destroyed everything in sight
There’s nothing left of you
You’ve torn apart your insides

We stand here waiting
Stand here crying
Stand here laughing at this insanity
It’s killing me
It’s killing you
And all around you

There’s someone I’m waiting to hear from
What’s he saying
We can’t think for ourselves anymore
There’s nothing happening
We just keep waiting

We just keep waiting
For something to happen for us
What will happen for us
What will happen for us
What will happen for us
What will happen for us

Where were you
Where was I
When everything was destroyed in sight

Where were they?
They ignored me.

I guess they forgot
Guess they left
Tore my heart out
Took my breath

I guess there’s nothing left to say
Now I turn and walk away

What will happen for us?
