Ambiguous Dawn

Cry… Inhale… Scream… Exhale… Smile

Rapid pulses and fiery eyes
Outshine the darkness and demise
All hollow air sweeps through my cries
Remaining so sentient remaining alive

….. but wait

Underneath the tears are loving thoughts
The rain is sweet and slowly stops
The droplets trickle down my face
It’s warm inside this perfect place

….. but how

CAN THIS HAPPEN WITHOUT A WARNING
HOW CAN YOU LOVE ME WHILE I AM MOURNING
PLEASE DON’T SAY YOU’LL KNEEL BEFORE ME
I’LL SHUT YOU OUT BEFORE YOU IGNORE ME

….. but what

If this poison needs a wanton inducer
And stalemate is offered from winner to loser
Will this combination help to confuse or
Will I finally be free of myself and abuse

….. Smile
