Outside myself, he spun my organs
into the demise of lost dreams, frost that
coats crimson throughout the blue of my veins,
gravity bound, as it pulls me back to his reality.

Mining the caves of my lungs,
he searches for the blood of diamonds
trapping torment in the sanctuary of ivory ribs,
he is entwined within the chambers of my pain.

Search beneath the walls of my sanity
he crafts artistry along the plates of my vertebra,
I am torn to linger inside his preconscious presence,
surrendering without the cultivation of knowledge.

His tongue lashes against my skin,
as needles plunge onto the pin cushion of
a beating bulb, twirling the rootless valves
of minced love within the cleaver of his fingertips.

I emerge from his captivity flickering the
dust from parted lips, tender was his touch,
deceived under the shore of crashing waves,
as they rise to smile upon my strength.

Now he resigns beneath the beauty
of flowers that grow under the salt of my tears.

"Mining the caves of my lungs," This is simply astounding. Extremely provocative & again keeping the poem quite profound. There is much to speculate in this piece; your words entwine, twist, flicker likethetouchoflips & "crashing waves". A snakelike...

...ver·te·brae tint of "veins, gravity bound..." You have woven torment & beauty in a tender way; w/ texture & blood. & your intro line just f*ing impaled me! I spiralled thru your "beating bulb/rootless valves/fingertips" & deception, yet in the ending..

intriguing and novel imagery, as I've come to expect from a talented one as you. many polysyllabic words, woven with care and challenging the tongue whose eyes grow wide trying to absorb the amazing intricacy of such crafted tropes.

The choice of words and the by-play between them is refreshing. Well crafted, I tip my hat.

You... are amazing. The title was beautiful, the poem itself stabbed me repeatedly and I am aching deliciously. Loved this.

you get better over time... trully deserving of praise for your evolution as a writer... less ambiguity to your writing / more observant metaphors and well crafted structure... you are comming into your own.
