"Leave A Note On Her" by Mylissa

So you spoke with the whisper of white willows,
as I stood with the ache of an April’s moon.
Moments of movements surround my thoughts
watching you with her, her with you.

I begged under a bird’s breath for a minimal measure of peace,
though pressing of lips upon her velvet skin
Left me soundless, speechless, yes unable to speak.

Leave a note on her.

Pronounce with profound periods the truth behind
your eyes. Engrave across her hypnotic hips the
reason of our release. I will scramble letters
violating words, screaming them across blistered blue skies.

Truth towers over the racket of your soul with the
tiniest of touches you stamp upon her tones. Killing me
would be easier then these theatrical performances of a
love once mine. I will read the note on her, no longer will
I be blind.

Been there, very painful. Seems as though nothing would ever stop the hurt. Very painfully written, yet beautiful at the same time. I loved it!

"...screaming them across blistered blue skies." The depth & passion, the heat & beauty of this poem is a movement of moments in pure poetry, like "velvet skin." Well done.
