Walking alone, the pale moonlight on my skin.
I wonder and think the things that could have been.
This path I wander is cold and long.
The snow gently falling, as I walk alone.
I would walk alone,
Feeling the cold inside.
Only to hear your voice,
Echoing through the night
Here I see the moon, in all her cold beauty.
The shadows she casts are but remnants,
Dark echoes of the world under the sun.
She is quietly calling, as I walk alone.
I would walk alone,
Feeling the cold inside.
Only to hear your voice,
Echoing through the night.
Within the shadows I make my home.
As I embrace the darkness that most over look.
For with out darkness, there cannot be light.
I find the chill enthralling, as I walk alone.
I would walk alone,
Feeling the cold inside.
Only to hear your voice,
Echoing through the night.
In the silence, your voice is cool and harsh.
It cuts my soul as the icy wind slits my skin
It whispers quite, sullen words that ring in my ears
It is all I can recall, as I walk alone.
