I live a life of cold blood
With malice all around
Screaming, yet
Never making a sound

I live in the shadows
Within the darkest night
Never feeling the power
Or life of the light

I live a life of sorrow
Waiting for impending doom
To relive me of these shackles
And lift me from this cold steel room

I live with in this cage
Ever bottling up the rage
Along with tears and hate
I have only now to accept my fate

I live imprisoned in my mind
Never finding any of my kind
But I feel there is more to find,
In this life of sorrow.

This is what I call a "Garbage poem". It's when I use more than one rhyme scheme with out blending them.

on of the best 'dark' poems I have read for a while...beautifully balanced, precise and the language: taut and tantalising - darkly blissful...respect/Col.
