See this face?
Lost in the crowd?
Why is she different?
She’s not.

She’s just the same,
Brown hair, green eyes…
Nothing special,
On the outside.

See this face?
Out on the field?
Why is he different?
He’s not.

He’s just a jock,
Strong arms, good game…
Nothing new,
On the outside

See this face?
In the back row?
Why is he different?
He’s not.

He’s just another loner,
Dark eyes, hood up…
Nothing interesting.
On the outside.

See this face?
At the grave?
Why is she different?
She’s not afraid.

She’s seen the love
The pain, the loss…
Something different,
You see the inside.

First thing I've actually written in a while...
Everything else was getting dusty,
Buried in the documents file...

This was incredible, it had so many beautiful questions and came to the conculsion we're all the same inside, but on the outside is what people really look at ~Gothic

"Why is she different? She's not afraid." And that, in itself, is enough to make a soul stand out in a crowd. Excellent piece. ~*Beth*~
