I clench my hand into a fist,
I watch the crimson surge.
I gently lacerate my wrist,
You laugh as I submerge.
I see your image in the pool,
I push harder against my skin,
We shall see now who is the fool
We shall see who will win
I am stronger now than I’ve ever been
And me you shall no longer bind,
But as you laugh and I sin,
You burrow though my mind
Now I sink, becoming lifeless,
The pain is just a haze
You are still there, nonetheless
Walking though my maze
Your laughter clings to my memory,
Your eyes glow from deep within.
You say I’ll never be free,
I say I shall begin.
