How I tire of being alone
Wasted space in a brilliant world
Hot as fire, and cold as stone
Blackened wings that were never unfurled
When from heaven I was thrown
And then from hell I was hurled.

So now I walk this twisted line
No soul will be my friend
For any fool can see the sign
Of one you cannot mend
I shall carry this pain of mine
Right up until the end

How I’ve wept oh, how I’ve screamed
For that peacefulness to come
From my heart ice crystals gleamed
And now that it is numb
I cause pain like has never been dreamed
when it all adds up, I am the sum.

I have tried many times to capture pain in its purest form, and have never quite been able to express it. You, you have captured it straight away. Again Excellent work

*frowns* the title of this piece, the words found inside...I would almost SWEAR that you're exactly who I think you are...but...that's beside the point. Beautiful rhyme scheme...beautiful write. *Evangel*
