I'm not faithful, but I'm not faithless
and there is no scorn for the sky
is the infinite time the source for the impaitence?
he suffers no fools gladly, what a guy
when the shepard comes for his sheep
some will stay and some will move on
for those who walk away, nothing is concrete
and they'll take the challenge to sing on
a life of servitude is in order
for every soul who walks the earth
the only question is who owns the butler
who walks the line that always curves
what if we never served ourselves
would we be rewarded by our father?
would we still hear the judgeing cries?
telling us of the wickedness in our lives
so our servitude is up for hire
whos to say how we are going to be payed?
cash on delivery, cash from the buyrer?
or after death, after we've been saved?
so will it be that is a wild chase?
and there will be nothing for me after I died?
Then in the end it would be the worst case
and I would of wasted most of my life
what if the answer was real all along?
and tales of heaven and hell were no lies
and I wasn't on the safe side, too far gone
it means I would of wasted all my life
God made us in his image
and in his image we stand as gods
maybe only a God could save us
But now gods come in crowds
so a life of service is in order either way
should we serve the God in the sky, or gods on the earth?
Do the servants desearve their pay?
Or should we put our faith into the meaning of his words?
No matter what, we'll be serving somebody.
Will we be serving our selves?
Or will we serve our father who art in heaven?
I ask because I love my self
And I love this way
And I lve how I help myself
Each and every day.
