Silence.
Dripping from the very edges..
Of something lacking internally.

Hush now.
Catering to the needs of others..
Whispers with no sound or echo.

Frailty,
Soft iridescent skin..
Lightly touched with no feeling.

No longer,
Are the hands entwined, entombed.
Together,
No longer walking,
With no glance shot in another's direction.
Shifting eyes.

Hovering...
Nearer, as the season's pass.
Street lights flicker on so..
Quietly...
All so hush.

h.u.s.h

Close the eye's so tightly..
The silence is so over-done.
So just please
steady your voice,
As a single form of moisture
Crawls down a face
So expressionless.
Gone cold inside.

Taken,
Into a new crevasse..
Where the world is just as bitter.
Just as old.
But the dreams of gazing stars,
Are no longer sold.
For Dirt and ash.

H.U.S.H

Home..
Where the silence breaks,
Into screams of eternity.
Alone.

i like how this is broken up...it still maintains a good flow, but it makes the reader take in each stanza. very good piece, i'll have to read more...

I loved it. I honestly did. It felt kind of tough and kind of loose but it was good. Those lines were amazing. Good job. -Glass
