Let me shed my tears
And wipe away my façade of happiness
Let me show you the real me
The real me who hurts inside so much that she cannot bear it.
I'm dead inside.
My heart has been ripped out
And thrown back in my face.
I'm not pretty, nor skinny
But I'll bleed myself beautiful
Starve myself 'til I'm thin.
Then maybe you'll love me again.
It might be shallow
It might be insane
But I would depart my soul
To be with you again.
I'll cut up my wrist
And twirl razorblades around my fingers
Slip them into my mouth,
Just to feel the pain.
So I can embrace your touch again.
