My vision is blurred
My speech is slurred
As I walk down these empty streets of the night

I cannot think straight
As I stop here and wait
As I stop here and think about this horrible night

My love cast me aside
Left me as I cried
As I watched him walk from these empty streets of the night

Left me here broken
No words have I spoken
Since my love cast me down these empty streets of the night

I walk past the Temple of the Gods
And I put on my fake façade
As I walk down these empty streets of the night

I bow my head and pray
That over time I'll be okay
As I walk down these empty streets of the night

Not one sound is heard
When it finally occurred
As I smile and walked these empty streets of the night

A chill runs down my spine
As I give off a sign
That never again shall he walk down these empty streets of the night

He tore me apart
Ripped out my heart
But I still walk down these empty streets of the night

I'll return the favor
And his pain I shall savor
As I drag his body along these empty streets of the night

very nice, the way that you repeat the same line over again but change it just a little was good, kept it from getting repetitive. I like the last line the best, Lord knows I felt that way about my husband enough times before we got married! *~`burned`~*
