I've been senseless for months
And your fine-toothed braille has only just come under my hands
Who lied to who, and who lied to herself?
Know that my shadow gets longer every day
As the lights dim, and the stars refuse to find me

When gloved fingers slide on my sides
And words escape the conversation
When rings and fabric cover my eyes
And words are believable from you alone
When time is pulled from under my feet
And words cannot adjust to my needs

Sex
Love
Hate
Obsession

My final meal from an empty plate
