How we try to wash our hands of all the blackened change
While fire and brimstone far below are not so out of range

What we DO affects us all, how hard we try does not
Although meant well, these mere attempts can't win the battles fought

We speak so highly of this man we say controls us all
And this "God" of whom you speak is said to know it all

But if control and knowledge makes a god we hail and praise
Why are not Adolf and Fidel hailed for their "Godly" ways?

For you see, these human things are hypocrites by nature
And we don't want our mental twins in metaphorical legislature

We are naive yet act as though we know all that goes on
We fight so much, what we want most can't be agreed upon

World peace will never happen, this "God" does not exist
And the world is a much better place if you know it's full of shit.

"Why are not Adolf and Fidel hailed for their "Godly" ways?" why ask questions that you know the answers to? especially dumbfuck questions like that.
