feelings and emotions filled with confusion
alone again to fight only to lose
a never ending battle against the storm
you know its coming and can't win
just waiting for it to strike--you are helpless
the wind whips and blows hard destroying
the thunder roars loud for all to hear
trying to let everyone know who's boss
lightening flickers across the sky
it strikes and it burns just to hurt
the storm is brewing and things are strewn
just to let You know its for real an not just a game
flood gates break, raindrops fall--loose is the rage
suddenly
the rage is soothed and quiet for now
there is a flicker and a roar one last time
just to let you know its not really over
you'll never win, it's sneaky
the storm....
