razors edge glinting
     in the flickering light.
heart pounding
as it echoes in my ears.
inhaling deepling
     no longer fighting,
                        the tormented soul.
the sharp edge glides effortlessly
           across cool tender flesh.
before running cold
           crimson blood flows freely,
                  like molten hot lava.
delicious pain envelopes my soul
         offering up to me
sweet release and ecstasy.
                    setting me free.

I read this and get flashes of memories long since forgotten. It's nice, sometimes, to be reminded of harder times. Lovely choice of words, they flow nicely.

call to arms couldn't have put it better. That's all that is. Slavery in the form of freedom.
