A heart once filled with so much love and passion
has become this raw an exposed mass
it has become tattered an torn
so full of emotion
knowing now only disappointment and broken promises
full of pain where fires once burned hot
crying when no one is looking
wondering if out there somewhere if there is peace
sighing softly at the disrepect and torture within
aching, wanting for something more...
begging softly for validity
always trying to hang on by that fine thread
trying never to just give up and surrender
hoping somewhere out there in this cruel world
he is there to take her heart to his hands, to mend the broken pieces
to help her stand stong again and egnite the fires within--
to once an for all be complete..
