Sweet music box dancer
Turns and turns
In the darkness
Of this lonely room
No ears to perceive
This cherished lullaby
For such joy
Doesn’t exist here any longer
Echoes in this empty place
Such silence screams so loudly
Permeating its audience
Smiles of pleasing recognition
Gives way to the misery of remembrance
Each tear that flows
Marking a line to its escape
Freefall crashing to the ground
Sending the sprays of liquid melancholy
In Every direction
Absorbed and fed into
The desolate emotions
That linger within
This room,
This lonely room,
Once flooded with life
Now lies empty
Where only sadness lives
And memories die
