Slow motion carousel
Turns and turns
Different faces
Different places
Blur the landscape
Blink of an eye
Everything is changed
Rearranged

A child with ice cream and tears
The couple getting on in years
The busy mob moves to and fro
Moments of mindless banter
Each drowning out another
Fast forward, slow motion
Fed through the eyes
Digested to memory
Where does it all lead to?

Round and round
Revolving infinitely
A potpourri of life
Nothing stays the same
The only constant is change
Rise to sun
Fall to darkness
The carousel finishes its last revolution
Fading into the crescendo
The world passes once more

Blink, and it starts again

It reminded me of the Matrix movie for some reason, but with more feeling. Outstanding and vivid imagery. Gives the mind a whirl, then *blink*! Julia~

a f**kin carnival... carnival... carousel... nausea... too many colors too many too many too fast too slow too much... too much... you've created a vision that disrupts sight with the reality that too often goes unseen...
