In the aftermath
Of a gentle winters rain
The simple resonance
Of a hushed nights deed
Descend softly about me
Feeding my radiant glow
Cleansing the impurities
Wispy vapors in the blackened skies
Veil the vigilant lunar eye
Suppressing its chimerical allure
Breathe deeply the interminable spirit
Joining as one
An ethereal entity,
Unseen and unexplained
A minute piece within this
Woven tapestry
The moment passes
So goes the heavenly veil
Revealing the shadow
Of my true self
Awakened and refreshed
The night lingers still
