Up through the emerald sea I spin,
Probing ever closer to the surface
Rays of sun bathing the waves
In an ethereal light,
Like a doorway to another world
I quest to break free of this watery plane and
Be reborn
With a last burst of my failing strength
I emerge, at last
Finally able to breath in the sweet scents
Of life,
No longer a formless wraith
Doomed to drift for eons,
Alone and filled with fear,
I rejoice for I have taken form
Purpose fills this long empty spirit
And the heart soars,
That which was once dead
Has risen again and is delivered
Unto Me
I am Lazarus man
Savior of truth
Bringer of salvation
Water surges beneath
As I tread what was once
My own prison,
A Smile encompasses my face
As I walk towards all I have, and will have
Forever…
