From the night skies
Fell a cool, early autumn rain
Descending the window
Like angelic tears on the face of sadness

The crackle of the fire within
Warms me, while the hypnotizing rhythms
Sooth the weary mind

With eyes closed
Away the spirit flies
While the doors inside me, open
Lifting the darkened veil
To a beautiful dream
Bathed in such sweet rapture

Two worlds intertwined
Beating as one

A perfect surrounding and release, though, I took it as an inner awakening to the deeper world within/without.. but then I awoke to the seventh dimension today ;) And high praise for bringing so much with so few words. This.. is poetry friends. ~b
