Darkness engulfs the horizon
The ground is cold
The air... frozen
No one to keep, to hold
Fingertips stinging
Face gowing numb
Frostman biting
I'm the only one
Heartbeat slowing
Will growing thin
Knees Buckling
Trying not to give in
Maybe someone will find me
Hopfully someone will care
Wishing someone could warm me
Dreaming someone would dare
Can't hold on much longer
Life draining quick
Never getting stronger
Spirits growing sick
Face down I lay
As dead as can be
On this darkend day
Because no one cared for me

I guess there's a reason why this place is called Dark Poetry - this kind of epitomises that reason. In your haunted shadows lie some restless thoughts, probes of pain and lost certainties. Interesting...
