Armies going out, conquering through capitalism
Bringing back tribute, burning lots of oil
Golden arches flying, symbol of imperialism
Always acting on our own, over the world tempers boil
We have no colonies
But we still rule the world
Money, not land
We are Rome, Rome!

Chorus: All roads lead to Washington
All over the empire they come to us
Don't screw with America
We can destroy you without a fuss

Watching tv, bloodsport still lives on
People everywhere gather, love reality
Who cares if they suffer, cash'll drive us on
Ideas so ridiculous, but fun for you and me
It started small
But got out of hand
Reality tv
We are gladiators, gladiators!

Chorus: All roads lead to America
All over the empire they come to us
Don't mess with the USA
We can defame you without a fuss

The capitol is burning down
The gyre is twirling round
We will never learn anything
What will the new Dark Ages bring (x2)

Armies going out, conquering through capitalism
Bringing back tribute, burning lots of oil
Golden arches flying, symbol of imperialism
Always acting on our own, over the world tempers boil
We have no colonies
But we still rule the world
Money, not land
We are Rome, Rome!

We gotta learn, or we'll burn
We gotta learn, or we'll burn
We are Rome...
