My lips long to feel
The graze of yours

But do not give into their temptations

For a kiss on the lips is a betrayal of the senses
Leading me astray
A moment of lust is all it speaks

Rather a kiss upon the eyes
Whispers eternity…
A kiss to the soul

That is what is needed
To assure this scared spirit

Tainted by so many before
Frightened …
Of the thought
A future of empty nights
Without you

In days like these
That is your obligation
Reassurance this is not my fate

Let me know
This our beautiful world
Will not come crashing down…

Ever

A kiss upon my eyes
Is your undertaking of always

A kiss to the soul, is a kiss to the heart, is a kiss to entirety. Your lips mark these words with such beauty, that those stains strike me, and I am left wordless... fantastic piece you have here.

"A kiss upon my eyes is your undertaking of always" Omg...the gazes of a love could send one to the clouds and beyond...but you must also remember that a glare of pretty eyes could kill a heart. Beautiful write. *Evangel*
