Pain and suffering are inevitable.
As sure as the sun will rise,
and as sure as the stars will fall,
there will be pain and suffering.
Things in life will hurt you.
People will make you cry,
make you bleed.
Personal comfort is no given,
but personal discomfort is almost garunteed.
No matter where you go,
what you do,
(or don't do)
you will suffer,
experience pain,
even when you have done nothing wrong.
So the question is not if you will hurt and suffer,
but what you will do when it happens.
Will you hang tight and work through it,
or will you hang yourself from a basement rafter?
Will you put your brains to work and figure out a solution,
or put your brains on the wall behind you, a pistol in your mouth?
Will you drink in the rewards of pushing through,
or drink vodka to wash down the sleeping pills?
Don't do it.
Killing yourself isn't the answer.
