The longest 23 minuetes of my life
were the ones when I thought I'd lose you.
I really fucked things up,
I swear I didn't mean to.

Never ment to hurt you
you weren't supposed to know
now you don't know what to do,
"we'll see how it goes"

The Silence rings so LOUD!
In tune with the sorrow I've found.
Why did I have to choose
that night with her over you?

The Silence rings so LOUD!
In tune with the sorrow I've found.
Why did I have to choose
that night with her over you?

It was just one night,
she was an old friend
we'd done it before,
why shouldn't we again?
I forgot I had a girlfriend,
she forgot she was engaged
and now you're feeling
to hurt to be enraged.

The Silence rings so LOUD!
In tune with the sorrow I've found.
Why did I have to choose
that night with her over you?

It was just a stupid game,
a game of "Ihave never..."
I agreed to play,
I never saw the danger
then someone said,
"I have never cheated on a relationship."
and I thought "Oh SHIT!"
I don't know what made me do it,
but I admitted to it
even though you were there,
somehow I didn't think you'd care

The Silence rings so LOUD!
In tune with the sorrow I've found.
Why did I have to choose
that night with her over you?

We talked about it,
you seemed ok,
I dropped you off,
and drove away.

but now it's wrong,
and you don't know
if you can ever
let it go
or how things will be
between you and me

The Silence rings so LOUD!
In tune with the sorrow I've found.
Why did I have to choose
that night with her over you?

I'd end my life right now
God knows I have the means
I would take that step,
I'd go to the extreams
if I thought it would
resolve the issue
solve the problem
heal your heart
let you move on
but you still say you love me
so what good to you
would a puddle of my blood be?

Damn... glad I helped smooth everything out between you two. You sound devastated.
