the sound of the a/c
(they finally came and fixed it)
keeps me sane
as I shiver here on my couch
its almost 9 in the morning
and its already 89 out side
yet in my living room
I can almost see my breath
I huddle up with my bowl of ramen
(of which makes up a majority of my diet)
which is qickly cooling
I sit and think
"what did they do before air conditioning?"
and stare blankly at the still box fan
that had been on 24/7 for over 2 months
that is, untill they came and fixed the a/c
I take a bite of noodles
which are now cold and slimey
and pull the quilt around me tighter
my laptop hums contentedly
and heats up my legs
as I absently scratch my puppy's head
whom is huddled up next to me
for warmth
its a good day
and Im happy to be here
to have my house
and be with my love

Ya know, I rather like this, just a simple page from the day in the life, laid out for whoever cares to look.
