I sit here
Before a computer screen
A headset on my ear
A constant assult in my mind
The phone rings
Sighs of exasperation
Words of accusation
And curses galor
Hi can I speak to So-and-so
Its you know who
Uh-oh, sorry for disturbing you
Have a nice day
Why cant I be rescued?
My knight in black leather
Ride up on the steel steed
Take me away from my torture
But I still sit here
Trapped in my chair
Assalting those I call
With my sales pitch
Im so sorry
I dont like what I do
Please dont hate us
Telemarketers loath it as much as you.
