The pain he feels I will never know
For the one he is losing now
I never got the chance to know

He cries out
Just trying to get my attention
But his cries
He doesnt even need to mention

I will always hear him
No matter where I am
I can be in a different state
Or maybe in the desert sand

For he loves me
And I love him
We will walk together
Through this deserted land

I feel his pain
While he feels mine
But his pain is something more
More than my life pain combined

For the ones I lost
Meant a great deal to me
But the one he is losing
Is someone close and dear in his family......

this is very sad... well expressed, thoughtful, and heart-string-pulling...

Well written. I understand his pain, as I, too, have lost a few close family members. You're doing exactly the right thing by showing him how much you care.

interesting, well written, a little vague
