There is this gnawing pain
Right at the pit of my heart
A gnawing pain thats tearing me apart
I no longer cry tears of salt water
I cry tears of blood
This is a feeling I haven't felt in so long
A feeling I thought was gone
So the cuts are back to the surface
Risen above my scars
Scars I thought would soon be gone
But I just couldn't handle the pain
I couldn't handle feeling ashamed
Why let people see my mistakes of the past
When I can let them see my mistakes of now
Just let me show them all my pain
Let me show it so they can feel the same
Let them see the bloody tears
Let them see how they made it hard for me to be here.
