Why do you do this to me?
Why cant you see that I want to believe?
I want to believe you when you say you love me
But it's hard to tell if you aren't lying to me.
I want to believe you when you say you care
But you are never really here.
You hardly talk to me anymore.
I might as well be a standing door,
Just something to be ignored.
I want to believe everthing you say
But most of it hurts me and sends me away.
Do you not want me here?
Do you not care?
I think to myself "what did I do wrong?"
But you say nothing and if that were true
why are you gone?
