Warm and safe has never been in the cards for us.
It doesn't burn and make us writhe.
Living in the moment.
Taking passion where we can.
I have no delusions.
We'll never belong to one another.
But we can make it hurt.
Go a little crazy.
And scare the neighbors with our screams.
We will cry and laugh before it's done.
Don't tell me you lveo me, babe.
I won't be your girl forever.
But I'll be the best you'll ever have.

Too many people (in my opinion) want to skip past the fun, the wild, forget the pain and pleasure and jump into the 'forever' of a supposed happily-ever-after. From my current position in life, I like the idea of this poem.
