Oh, the way your hair always seems to fall into your eyes.
Despite how many times you would brush it away.
I remember the day we met.
They say good things come in small packages.
Well all it took was one passing glance.
And now I shall never be free of this addiction.
I knew in that moment I had to find a way to be near you.
I prtected you from fawning imbediles.
And saved you form the scrutiny and criticism of passerbys.
I befriended you and stepped into your world.
A world of hidden sorrows and profound joy.
That world was filled with unsees monsters and beauteous wonders and lily flowers.
I did my best to rid this magickal place of the monsters that threatened to break free.
All this time knowing that we could never be.
I had hoped that you would finally;
See me for who I am.
A savior, a lover and a lonely crying child.

this has such a unique reach to it....i can't quite put my finger on it but.......it seems to describe the missing piece of my heart as if i held it in my hand hidden behind my back........if that makes any sense:)...very nice.
